Joe Bauman, Team Leader

Prior to entering the Real Estate Industry Joe was a PGA Golf Professional. At age 21, Joe turned professional and played tournament golf, coached and taught top notch golfers at both the high school and college level. After over a decade in the golf business Joe decided to pursue a career in real estate.

Joe Bauman has been a licensed Real Estate Professional since December of 1998. He strives to show his strong work ethic, commitment, market knowledge, and good communication skills at all times when working with his clients. Joe has established himself as an industry leader over the past 15+ years and has a strong understanding of this market. Over the years Joe has gained a great deal of expertise and contacts throughout the industry. Additionally, Joe is a member of Rotary International Club, Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Tacoma Chamber of Commerce and President of the Auburn Golf Course Men’s Club. Joe is a member of the Luxury Home Specialist with John L. Scott and a Certified Seller Marketing Specialist (CSMS).

Over his career, Joe has experience representing hundreds of clients included many satisfied Families as well as Luxury Home Buyers and Sellers, Investors, Builders of New Construction, Real Estate Developers, Business Owners, Attorneys and their clients, Financial Planners, Waterfront and View Home Sellers as well as Commercial Investors, Multi-family Investors as well as those with acreage to bring to the market. Joe also works closely with Multicare and their recruits to assist incoming providers with relocation and finding homes.

Joe and his team have represented clients in a vast range of different areas including Tacoma, Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Gig Harbor, Federal Way, NE Tacoma, West Seattle, Des Moines, Auburn, Kent, Renton, Sumner, Lake Tapps, Puyallup, Graham, University Place, Lakewood, Key Peninsula, Milton, Maple Valley, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond, and Newcastle.

Josh Setten, Buyer's Agent

Born in Newton, Massachusetts, but raised in the Northwest, Josh has been a Washington resident for over 20 years. On the east side of the mountains, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a Choral Specialization from Central Washington University. Post graduation, he spent 4 years teaching and directing both high school and junior high choir in the Yakima Valley. Always a lover of music, he has spent his whole life heavily involved in the music community, and has years of experience singing in choirs, performing in musical productions, and directing. From his many years of working with both children and adults, he has developed a strong work ethic, learned how to creatively solve problems, and become skilled at communicating with people based on their individual needs. These are all skills that will allow him to serve you and take your needs and wants and make them his top priority. He takes pride in his profession and will dedicate himself to guiding you through the process of purchasing or selling a home in order to make it as stress free and easy as possible for you and your family.

Dennis Bassham, Broker

Dennis grew up in Auburn, WA having moved from San Diego, CA in 1966.  Shortly after graduating high school, Dennis married his high school sweetheart, Gail, in 1982.  Together they raised three wonderfully successful children and currently enjoy spending time with all of them and their two grandsons here in Washington.  Early on, Dennis worked odd jobs and attended night school; completing his computer programming degree and began a successful career as a Software Engineer with Boeing and then Verizon Wireless over the next 30 years.  Dennis began his Real Estate career with John L. Scott, Inc. in 2003 and worked both careers until retiring from Verizon Wireless in 2016.  Additionally, in 2004 Dennis and Gail began buying rental properties to build wealth, gain knowledge, and stay on top of the market trends.

Today, Dennis focuses full time on his Real Estate clients.  His goal with every client is to provide an enjoyable experience.  Real Estate transactions are one of life’s grandest experiences and it is vitally important to him that his clients have complete trust and confidence in his ability to represent their best interests through knowledge, experience, communication, truly listening and meeting his client’s needs.

Steve Schoos, Broker

After 20 plus years in the banking industry, Steve Schoos decided to take the plunge into the real estate industry. It was always something that he had considered and he is glad he decided to give it a try. Now more than 13 years later, Steve is still in the real estate industry and works primarily in Pierce, King, Thurston, Grays Harbor and Mason Counties.

Steve specializes in the “old school technique” of face-to-face interactions, but also uses quarterly mailings, pop bys and social media to market his listings. He prioritizes his clients and educates everyone he works with about the latest housing industry news. Steve works in mostly residential, but has also worked quite a bit with raw land and has started to delve into the commercial aspect of the industry. As a John L. Scott broker, Steve’s mission is transactional excellence and client satisfaction. That means he work tirelessly to make your home buying or selling process as efficient, stress-free and lucrative for you as possible.

In Steve’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, and with 10 grandkids he stays very busy. He is also an avid fly fisherman and is always on the lookout for rainbow trout, steelhead or even a salmon.
